There are 6 violent deaths per 100,000 residents, according to a new report. That far exceeds any other wealthy nation. Gun violence contributes to Americans' lower life expectancy, the report explained. The U.S. also has more drug-related deaths, infant mortality and AIDS. The nation's health care system, harmful behaviors and social and economic conditions could be factors.
