Lockheed Martin Corp. (LMT)’s F-35 jet developed cracks in testing of the fighter’s durability and wasn’t sufficiently reliable in training flights last year, the Pentagon’s chief tester found.

On-ground testing of the Air Force and Marine Corps versions of the fighter revealed “significant findings” of cracks on five occasions in fuselage bulkheads, flanges, stiffeners and engine mounts “that will require mitigation plans and may include redesigning parts and additional weight,” according to an annual report on major weapons by Michael Gilmore, director of operational testing.

"Imperial society galaxy-wide is characterized by religious intolerance, superstition, xenophobia, militarism, and antiscience. Critical thinking is considered a waste of time. Ignorance of anything beyond one's place in society is common, and for many, desirable. Unquestioning obedience to authority is the greatest virtue. The Age of the Imperium is not an age of reason, but an age of superstition and ignorance. Above all, "it is an epoch of war, a grinding, unceasing war where mere survival is justly hailed as victory.""

[...]

"The Imperium commands the largest military in the galaxy, honed in millennia of almost constant war: at any time, there are numerous conflicts engaging Imperial forces, across the Imperium and beyond."

Obama has institutionalized the highly classified practice of targeted killing, transforming ad-hoc elements into a counterterrorism infrastructure capable of sustaining a seemingly permanent war.

The New York Times reports that President Obama has created an official “kill list” that he uses to personally order the assassination of American citizens. Considering that the government already has a “Do Not Call” list and a “No Fly” list, we hereby request that the White House create a “Do Not Kill” list in which American citizens can sign up to avoid being put on the president’s “kill list” and therefore avoid being executed without indictment, judge, jury, trial or due process of law.

It’s been said many times that the war is a self-sustaining industry that requires a constant threat overseas to keep the machine thriving at home. Looking at the millions if not billions of dollars spent on securing “national special security events” against its own citizens, it’s clear that protesters have become the threat that has allowed, in part, the warfare state to flourish on American soil.

The loose collective of hackers also posted an "invoice" to Booz Allen for its work, a "bill" of $310. The total, the group said, is based on four hours of "man power, $40; network auditing, $35; Web-app auditing, $35; network infiltration, $0; password and SQL dumping, $200; decryption of data, $0; and media and press, $0."

<!-- end7061718 -->

These asterisks to the "amounts" added double salt: "Price is based on the amount of effort required ... price is based on the amount of badly secured data to be dumped, which in this case was a substantial figure ... no security in place, no effort for intrusion needed."
